"ATTO changed its organizational and legal form"

On June 4 of this year, the state registration of the initial issuance of shares of the JSC "AUTOMATED TRANSPORT PAYMENT SYSTEM OPERATOR" (the ATTO trademark) took place at the National Agency for Prospective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPP).

 

Transformation of ATTO from LLC to JSC

On May 8, 2024, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 30, 2023, No. PP-381, and based on the decision of the extraordinary general meeting of participants from May 1, 2024, on May 29, 2024, the company ATTO was reorganized by transforming it into a joint-stock company (JSC).

Other company details, including the legal address and bank details, remain unchanged.

It is important to know that all services provided by ATTO will continue to function as before.

 

What are the advantages of ATTO operating as a JSC?

Increasing the transparency of the company's activities and introducing corporate governance with various levels of control, as well as decision-making by a collective body, contributes to greater trust in the company from partners and investors.

The introduction of effective management through the establishment of a Supervisory Board, whose members are appointed based on significant management experience and qualifications in the relevant industry.

Developing a risk management system, taking measures to address conflicts of interest and dealings with affiliated parties is also an essential part of the company's reliability and financial stability.

 

About ATTO's activities

The company is the developer and operator of the Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS), designed to ensure information and technological interaction in the provision of passenger transportation services in public transport using transport cards and bank cards with contactless NFC technology, mobile and stationary validators for registering fare payments, as well as a billing system for generating reports on the number and time of trips, as well as the route number of the vehicle.

Currently, ATTO operates in Tashkent, Samarkand, Karshi, Urgench, Andijan, Bukhara, Nukus, Termez, Namangan, Jizzakh, Kokand, Yangiyul, and Almalyk.
